What Size Collar & Harness for a Greyhound?
For an adult Greyhound, a M collar and L harness are the usual starting point, based on a typical neck of 33–41 cm and chest of 66–81 cm. But every dog is different — measure yours and use the two-finger rule before buying.
Collar: M · Harness: L
Typical neck 33–41 cm · chest 66–81 cm · weight 27–40 kg
⚠️ Measure your dog — breed is only a starting point. A Greyhound's build varies a lot between individuals, and a collar is a safety item. Measure the neck snug, add about 2-3 cm (the two-finger rule), and confirm against the specific collar's size guide before buying.
🐕 Breed note: Sighthounds have necks as wide as or wider than their heads, so a standard buckle collar can slip off. A martingale or wide sighthound collar is safer.
