How to measure your cat
Wrap the neck
Use a soft tape (or string then a ruler) around the base of the neck where the collar sits โ snug, not buried in fur.
Two-finger room
You should be able to slip two fingers between tape and neck. Add about 1 inch / 2.5 cm.
Pick breakaway
For any cat that goes outside or is unsupervised, the buckle must be a quick-release breakaway type.
Re-check kittens often
Kittens grow fast โ check the fit weekly and switch from kitten to adult collar past 2.5 kg.
Quick-release buckle that pops open if it snags โ the safe choice for any cat.

Collar size is anchored to neck circumference, harness size to chest girth. Measure snug with a soft tape, then apply the two-finger rule (about +2-3 cm) so the collar is secure but comfortable. Breed figures are typical adult ranges and only a starting point โ individual dogs vary widely, and brand labels differ, so always measure your dog and check the specific product's size guide.
