How to measure little feet
Stand, don't sit
Measure standing โ weight spreads the foot to its true size. Heel against a wall, or use our printable foot ruler.
Heel to longest toe
Mark the longest toe (not always the big toe) and measure from the heel in cm.
Add growing room
Add about 1.2 cm so there's room to grow without the shoe being a trip hazard.
Re-check often
Check the fit every 2โ3 months for toddlers โ red marks or curled toes mean it's time to size up.
Measure little feet accurately at home โ the reliable way to size, not by age.

Kids' shoe sizes are anchored to foot length in centimetres. EU equals the US kids' size plus 17; UK runs about half a size below US. Age bands are typical averages only โ children's feet grow up to a full size every 2-3 months when young, so always measure the foot (add ~1.2 cm growing room) and check the brand, as athletic brands often run small and casual brands large.
