How to measure & use it

Size for the larger foot
Most people have one foot bigger. Go by the larger one, and size up if you're between two.

How do I convert my US shoe size to UK?
For men, the UK size is one size smaller than the US (a US 9 is a UK 8). For women the gap is larger โ about two sizes. Type your size into any box above to see the exact match, but anchor to your foot length for the most reliable result.
What is my EU shoe size if I'm a US 9?
A men's US 9 is roughly an EU 42.5, derived from a foot length of about 26.3 cm. EU sizes use the Paris-point scale measured on the shoe's last, so the conversion isn't a whole number.
Is foot length the same as shoe size?
No. Shoe size is based on the internal length of the shoe (the last), which is longer than your bare foot to leave room. Most charts assume around 1โ1.5 cm of extra length over the foot.
Why do two shoes in the same size fit differently?
Every brand uses its own last and ease allowance. Nike and adidas often run about half a size small; Converse and Dr. Martens run large. The Brand Size Finder applies each brand's known tendency for you.
Should I size up if I'm between two sizes?
Usually yes โ size up to the larger, and always fit the larger foot, since most people have one foot bigger. A snug shoe can't be stretched as easily as a slightly loose one can be padded.
How these conversions are calculated
Every size is anchored to foot length and interpolated from an authoritative CM reference table (cross-checked across brand and retailer charts on the Mondopoint/Paris-point/barleycorn basis). Published sizes match the cited anchors across the full range; between brands, expect up to half a size of legitimate variance, which we flag per brand.
